Thats becuase there was no "J" in the latin alphabet but it was still was pronoundes the same except it was just written an "i"Mishko said:

Oh, and I already have a nitpick - Greek is the right culture for 1187, but in 1066 Armenian should probably be added as well - before the Turkish invasion and the subsequant loss of the Armenian lands, Amenians were fairly well represented in Byzantine civil service, the military, and even were Emperors from time to time. This is only relevant, of course, if you use the same method for determining country culture as you did in EU2....

Why wouldn't you be able to do that? I'm not sure about the rest of Europe, but among the Byzantines (the area which I am studying now, as if the rest of you couldn't tell that...
