Byzantine ruler wears old crown in late era instead of new one

Have no idea why this is happening. I disabled all my mods and it’s still doing it. I have all the content packs as well.
Disabling mods does not remove effects they have already had on the save game file. Were any of them related to ruler appearance and suchlike?
Yeah had a mod that changed how the Byzantine look. However when I disable all mods and start a new game. The old crown from Early era is still showing up in Late era
Here I have to admit my ignorance of Byzantine crown changes. What is supposed to happen when?

Hey sorry for late reply I found out the problem which was a certain mod. CPR Plus. Now the Emperor is wearing the correct crown. However I noticed the portraits for all characters is no longer fitting the portrait frame. Have a photo.
I don't see what in that screenshot is concerning you, to be honest. But try deleting the folder documents/paradox/ck2/gfx/ and let the game recreate it.
