Byzantine Female Heir

So my Byzantine emperor has 7 daughters and no sons. The first 3 weren't born in the purple. Which made my heir my fourth daughter, until some time when my heir was 12ish my first born daughter became my heir. This is a problem because i already married her off into a normal marriage. So i let the game run a bit to see if the problem corrected itself, but so far no dice. Any idea what's going on?

More specifically, she has a son. I'm not sure that her having a daughter would have moved her up in succession, but daughters with sons always outrank daughters without sons in succession.

Yeah I killed her son and that fixed the problem. Then my new wife gave birth to a son, so it's moot now anyways.

I never play Byzantium so I've never had this problem. But I wonder if that's a bug in the ERE case because shouldn't purple-born override everything else? For ex, doesn't a purple-born girl come before a pre-accession son?

I don't think BITP overrides agnatic-cognatic (or enatic-cognatic) and the gender law always takes priority over BITP. This is also where daughter with son coming before daughter without comes into play (I actually don't know if thus rule applies under absolute cognatic or the reverse applies under enatic-cognatic).

To my knowledge, this is WAD.
