Hey guys, first time really diving into the Alexiad scenario. Rather than attempt to take arms up against the Rum first thing, I decided to shore up and get some european territories first.

Then an event fired up, with the choice of going to war with the Rum over the coastline or not to. I chose to.

After (surprisingly) winning this war, I was rewarded with most of the Anatolians penninsulas coastline. So, my question is this:

Do I now wait around for another event to fire up that will make me try to take the remaining territories of the Rum or go on the offense piece by piece. I tried to look these events up in the events folder but no luck. Any advice would be most useful :D

As far as i know there is no other events that will fire, that is useful for you in the Reconquista. PB have added the special reconquest of the Coast - Event War, to simulate the rapid reconquest of the Anatolian coastline after the First Crusade. But from then on the warfare in Anatolia was more of a seesaw affair, so there is no other historic period of reconquest to base another event on.

The only other campaign that could have ended with massive conquests by the Byzantines was Manuel Komnenos campaign of 1175-1176 that ended at Myriokephalon, in the last mountain pass before the Seljuk Capital at Konya.

So you should just go ahead and declare a Holy War for a duchy as soon as you can.
