Byzantine Empire ?

As the game starts in 1453 I wonder whether there will be the Byzantine Empire available in EU 3. As many of the EU 2 fans liked to play that country I think they won't be pleased if Paradox leaves it out.

There is a little chance though. The last Byzantine refuge in Morea (Peleponnes) was conquered about 10 years later. Perhaps they'll include this at least so that you can reconuer Konstantinople..

Ok, people let's keep it friendly.

For myself I don't like that Byzantium isn't included, and I remember feeling a bit betrayed that it wasn't.

But, I have compelete and utter trust to Paradox to create a great game, and to all of the modders to mod back in byzantium.

Case closed. To all the byzantium haters, I cannot change how you feel, just try to understand that had byzantium not existed or fallen sooner than it had, you would all be probably writing from left to right...

To everyone else, let's keep some heart to support the modders when EU3 is out, not chase windmills. Since the devs have spoken, it is a done deal.
