Hello,
So I'm still not quite sure how the heritage as the emporer of the byzantine empire works, but I noticed something quite wierd.
Following situation:
Myself playing as a old lady of 60 something years, got the emporer title ca. 14 years ago.
All my children and a few grandchildren were already born when I earned the title through war.
The firstborn is a daughter following it up with 3 sons.
The heritage law is agantic-kognatic primogeniture.
At the moment my heir is my second son, since my first one already died a few years ago.
Now one of the sons of my firstborn, a daughter, gets a son, which would be my grandgrandson, and that makes the heritage of the emporer title change to the newborn boy.
I know that children born after the emporer title is claimed are preferred over those that were already born, but I already got a few new grandchildren during my reign as a emporer,
so why does the heritage only changes when my firstborn gets a grandchild. Also I'm not certain if it should be able to leap over multiple generations.
It is easily fixable by changing the law to agnatic, but the behaviour of the heritage doesn't seem quite right to me.
And to add something to this: My serbian king title, with the same heritage law, will be inherited by the son of my 1st dead son.
