The voting has being concluded. The results are as follows:
In the election category,
Panzer Commander was voted for by Tabanese, Cuendillar and Andre Massena. (I presume he voted for himself as well but he never used the official form and as it won't affect the result, I making a point of it.

)
Thus, Panzer Commander will lead the country for the next term.
In the DEFCON category,
Mobilise was voted for by Tabanese and Andre Massena.
Panzer may execute war at his discretion.
Slider carries.
First off, the official spiel regarding votes, as it relates to Cuendillar's vote.
The deadline for this vote will be the sixth of February (this Friday) at 20:00GMT, as it is three days to the closest 20:00 hour.
The category, suggested by Andre's vote, is GOVERNMENT. The opening preferences are NOBLE, ADMIN, or NAY. NOBLE and ADMIN reference the options Cuendillar supplied, NAY is the default option to reject the vote. That seems to be everything; let me know if I missed anything.
As for my thoughts on it, I have a few.
1) Could you explain what you mean by the bracketed text? "1 term/player" and "2 terms/player if he is re-elected"?
2) I don't believe a Noble Republic can diplovassalise, but I mainly play with D&T on, so that could just be me.
3)
It has worked for hundreds of years; why fix what isn't broken?
To improve it? Really, I'm the one backing narrowmindness here, not you.

(that's not really a point; I just wanted to take a cheap, political shot.

4) For me, there is three options. They both fit nicely into your vote, so I won't be adding preferences but it goes like this:
We are Princes forever. Vote NOBLE and never look back. Andre's position, and something of a default I suppose, as a NAY vote would achieve similar. (Though not the same; This is why I make point 1. )
We progress with the times. If I voted ADMIN, it would be for the superior centralism option and the bonus of better trade efficiency. Yet, I wouldn't stop. When we could, I'd propose a Constitutional Republic. As a large empire, production will make or break us and the CR gives a great bonus in that regard. Plus, from an RP standard, our plutocrats and free men must murmur of replacing the aristocratic government by now, so there is that. (What NI's might change this; I'll be honest, I forget which one's we have.)
However, my current preference is to remain a noble republic now, merely to justify, from an in-universe perspective, the REVOLUTION! I've never played long enough to have it as an option and think it be an interesting event chain for Tuscany to go through. It'd be a forum project of course, as we'd have to cultivate strife but by the time we get close, we may already have accomplished much of our other goals. Lastly, it does have the advantage of letting us use NARROWMINDNESS for the empire and then jumping from one extreme to the other in a few years.

(Same with Quantity; save some cash, build a big army, then BOOM, professional patriots export the revolution!)
That's all for now. I'll cast my vote after getting feedback.
