Seeing as the Paradox shop carries it no longer, I was wondering how I might be able to buy the game? No store around here carries it, as it is discontinued...and I am reluctant to use Ebay, so...any help at all would be very much appreciated. :)

I'm quite interesting in playing a Mega campaign, which is the primary reason I wish to purchase the game.

I recently bought a new 6 game set of some of Paradoxs games, mainly for EUII since I had a few of the other games in it, but it also came with HoI 1, EUII asian chapter, Crown of the North, Two Thrones AND Victoria, all for $20. I know both my local EB Games and GameStop had it so you might wanna check around again. The other good thing about it is that all (I think) the games come with the latest patchs installed, so no need to download anything.

Well, I bought Victoria and Crusader Kings, sadly, I am unable to play either right now, as it seems my computer has chosen to go insane on me, and on my birthday too. :(

*sigh* A few days ago my explorer.exe suffered a critical error and had to shut down. Now this had happened before, so I simply rebooted the computer. But oddly, all of the icons on my desktop no longer showed up, nor did my toolbar. The icons were still there, as I could access everything on my computer through Task Manager. I continued on working on my computer, not letting the minor inconvenience slow me down until I could find a fix.

Then just today, I noticed my internet connection was going a bit slow, so I restarted to give it a kick, when I came back, the whole computer was going so utterly slow, that I could not do anything with it. :( I opened task manager, and eventually with great patience managed to end the explorer.exe, but it continued on its slow path. I scrolled down, again with great lag, and found that my lsass.exe and my winlogon.exe are also quite active. I am unable to close them down however, as it claims they are critical system programs and can not by shut down.

So I'm stuck in this annoying delema, happy birthday to me, huh?

Did that six-pack include manuals for the games?

You sure about that? P'dox hasn't seemed too keen on the idea of pdf-manuals in the past?

They shouldn't bother with the manual, just put a slip of paper with urls to the forum and the WIKI.

Paradox destroy the rainforests by printing manuals which are obsolete by the time the first 1.01 patch comes out.

Because .exe mods like No Time Limit may not work on it (they don't on HoI2 On Demand apparently). If you don't care about that then it's probably good. (And of course you need a high-speed internet connection to your game machine which some don't have.)

I just bought a used copy of Victoria off EB... after EU2, both HoI's, and Crusader Kings.. Victoria seems to be the most complex to grasp. Getting there though, CK is still my fave but we shall see.
