Buying Titles

Is there any mechanism by which a ruler can buy a lower tier title, like county or dukedom, from a ruler in debt? It was definitely not an unheard of practice in feudal Europe and I suppose could function similarly to the buy favor decision already incorporated in Conclave.

There is a mod on the steam workshop that allows you to buy a claim. Unsure if that can be modified to give you the title instead on certain conditions.

I'll have to check out how they have coded that. If the "buy favor" action isn't hard coded, which I don't believe it is, I think a) a "buy title" action can probably be created borrowing heavily from that or b) allow bought favors to be traded for titles. I'm thinking a) is more realistic because I'm thinking of the mayhem that could result if the AI is allowed to use favors to acquire other characters titles to which they don't have a claim.
