Buying/Selling ships.

Does anyone know if it is possible to buy or sell ships.

You can sell or buy clippers and steamers. These ships are then used in convoys or as material when you're constructing navy ships.

technicaly you cant buy ships, but you can buy all of the components and then its just assembling them yourself, nearly free of charge

That does mean you can't buy a ship you don't have the technological capacity to build yourself though.....
