I have a PC right now, but I'm buying the MAC maybe next week. And I buy this game now, because of CK2 offer. So my purpose is to install the game on MAC. So is there some option where I choose the game on PC or a MAC? Or is there only one way to buy the game and it will work either PC or MAC? I hope you understood my intention!

And you won't get any trouble with future DLC's not working with a CKII converter or anything like that. What with all the problems GG created by being on a 'separate platform'

As EU4 will only be released on Steam, there is no difference between buying it on Steam, on GG, on GMG or anywhere else in this regard: You will be able to play it on PC, Mac, Linux, and whatever other platforms Paradox/Steam decide to offer.

The only difference between a GG preorder and a preorder anywhere else is that you will get the GG version of CK2, including the GG version of the CK2->EU4 converter.

Purchasing the game anywhere will give you a Steam key, which will let you install and play the game on Windows, Mac and Linux - you could run it on both your current PC and the new Mac for example. You can also use the Steam Cloud saving functionality to continue the same game over the two computers.
