Now that they are getting back from the holidays and gearing back up, I am hoping we will see a new patch update coming soon.

Havnt heard much from you guys since Flashpoint was released. Whats in the works?
Flashpoint was released at the very end of November and then a bit more than three weeks later holiday break happened. Between release and holiday break they were working on patches for various bugs and issues (eg. the loading problem) that unfortunately didn't make the cut to be released before the break, and no doubt content for Urban Warfare also.

I am looking forward to what Urban Warfare has to offer. Although Flashpoint was neat, it did not really add something new besides the ability of Alliances and slightly too much LosTech. But Urban Warfare might call for new Mechanics / Content. :)

With BATTLETECH just out of the gates, launched less than a year ago, there are still so many directions that HBS can go with URBAN WARFARE!

Of course HBS cannot go in EVERY direction. As URBAN WARFARE's Release Date approaches, I expect we'll hear more about its features, Mechs, Urban Biome and get hopefully get some jazzy UW-graphics! : )

I'm guessing we are going to get a proper "1.4" update between now and UW in the summer. We did go from 1.0 to 1.3 between Launch and FP, so we might get up to 2 big updates (1.4, 1.5) before then. While they don't need to build the FP system this time, adding in whatever urban mechanics do will likely take as long. If they follow the 14., 1.5, then 1.6+UW that sets up a good pattern we might be able to plan around with regards to mods or tournaments.

Waiting for the final release of the german localization to start a new campaign :)
I have paused since patch 1.1 because I had not much time to play and as I heard of patch 1.3 / FP, I choose to wait for the final localization.
After release it's time for 24/7 gaming again :p
So let them work and have patience, they had holidays too ;)

I think your selling Flashpoint a little bit short there.
The bulk of what Flashpoint delivered was an entirely different way of generating missions which is fundamenetally different to how missions were generated previously, this unlocks a lot of potential for mini campaigns and it should mean every single DLC from now on should come with a new collection of mini campaigns to play.
Call it an enabling DLC if you will.

If they follow some of the PDX model, each DLC should include a substantial mechanic revamp or two for the base game as well (ie, Flashpoint had Campaign Mode and the skill re-work).

My best guess for Urban Warfare is a less frustration-inducing salvage system (looking at you, T-Bolt variants!).
I wouldn't be surprised if Called Shot Mastery's 18% got reduced to 10 or 12%.
Probably also some item/inventory tweaks (stop resetting to the top, high value items near the top of the list).

And a bunch of the stuff on the "simple fixes" list.
