Hi All,

I must say I love this game. Just a few things would make it great

I have a massive bus network and one particularly route I have split In two routes already due to traffic congestion and I
would love to be able to have short journeys on the route but still under the same route number this would protect part of
the route if the other buses are stuck in traffic. Another thing I would like to see is the ability to run one route from two or
More garages allowing departures from each end of the route giving a more even spread of buses along the whole route.

Apart from that a bloody great game. Keep up the good work:happy::happy::happy:

If I'm reading your post correctly, you want what's called short lining. You can have certain runs turn around mid-route. This would be nice feature, as this is an excellent way to get maximum coverage but reduce costs. Real transit agencies do this as you can provide extra service to the busiest segment of the route while saving money by not having to pay for empty buses to go all the way to the end of the route turn around. You also get extra service with a far less amount of buses.

I agree with you, short lining or the possibility to handle several alternated routes per line would be a massive improvemt in the gameplay. But with this it would be crucual also to make the pathfinding of the CiMs smarter, so they could also recognize if e.g. two similar lines are operating between the same stops, and recognize if a line is acually serving a stop or not at a given time in order to make special night networks possible or different services e.g. on evenings or weekends.

This would be good. I don't know much about coding but something like this:

Stop [1] - Lines [65.66.67]
Stop [12] - Lines [65.66.67]
Stop [15] - Lines [65]

And in the passenger detail

Pax Name - John Smith
1st Stop - [12]
2nd Stop - [1]

And then whichever bus comes first which goes between these two stops, the 'John Smith' would get on board.

However I tried to design a type of network like above where all 3 services went down the Main Rd and then each had a small terminus off it. So if you are waiting on Main Rd, you get any of the 3 buses which arrive, but if you want the little terminus, you wait for that service.

Maybe one day some time some place
