I am playing 5.2 (ZFZZ), and I got a mission as Burgundy to conquer Brabant. All other "Conquer X" (eg. Conquer Hainaut) missions usually give cores and some other rewards, but the conquer Brabant mission has absolutely no rewards. Is this WAD?
It does give cores on all their provinces. It just isn't very clear about that, but it will give them - though the modifier will still give the provinces some revolt risk for a while. It was considered too strong to get multiplefree HRE cores without any repercussions. The mission for Liége works the same way.
But really, this is the sort of question that should go in the "Quick questions" thread instead.
Okay, thank you! The event(s) should really make that more clear, I already lost one chance to conquer Brabant as I didn't think the mission gave a reward so I vassalized it instead...
Unfortunately it's a limitation of the scripting engine. The only way to give multiple cores in a dynamic way causes it to not show any tooltip for it (because the cores to be given have not been chosen until the mission completes).
