I remember in a previous version of AGCEEP you could conquer France as Burgundy and be crowned the king of France. (something about neither England or the Dauphine having the authority to claim the throne) This time around I conquered the whole Dauphine and most of the land was given to England!

Has the event leading to a unified Holland and France been removed? If not, how do you trigger it?

Nope it's still there. In my current game as Austria Burgundy chose to claim the Crown of St. Louis and gained cores on all of France. It prevented me from inheriting them. : /

Not particularly, but it was rather quick. The whole situation in Western Europe was screwed up really:

a. Henry V chose the Generous Peace and England ended up with only 3 Normandie, Caux , and Calais.

b. Dauphine became France by ~1425, maybe a little later

c. The new France and her allies (Bourbanais, etc..) beat up Burgundy until the latter was reduced to two or three provinces

d. Burgundy suddenly claimed the Crown of St. Louis and instantly all of the Low Countries + Artois and some German minors... eventually took three or four provinces in Italy

Hmmm, maybe I didn't. I know I refused to become England's vassal which really ticked them off, but that was probably after I already endorsed their rise to the throne. I'll try making a new game and fighting the English and the Dauphine from the beginning.

Still, later in the game England has been completely kicked off the continent and still no event for either me or the Dauphine.

Every time I play Burgundy I somehow end up either as France or getting the Crown of Lothair... usually just happens by accident. It's really weird for either one of those to not trigger.

Is it still possible to get both if you get lucky?

Yes it's true.
I had the same problem. In my last two games.
maybe is an error (the BUR takes Champagne and Artois and the entire Pays Bas)
But Henry V was beaten by DAU and didn't choose the generous peace.

It is possible. You have to get the crown of Lotharingia in the first event about it (1445 iirc), and in france, england must beat france at first, with a full treaty of troyes, and you have to deny the english and the french the right to the french crown. Then you have to beat the dauphin. When 1463 (i think) rolls around, you then get both the crown of lotharingia AND the crown of france.

it's unlikely, I've never seen Austria agreeing except for when I modded the event :p

I got the Crown of France even when Dauphine existed and I didn't own PAris. Don't know how's that possible.

Could always just force it to trigger - go into the event file for Burgundy, find what you're looking for (ctrl+F 'addcore' usually works well).

Ok as my current game as Ottoman Empire Burgundy requested the Crown of Lothair and got rejected... but I fired the acceptance event anyway. And then Burgundy also got the Crown of St. Louis event. Now it's 1458 and they own everything from Geldre in the north to Provence in the south, it really is a Lotharingian kingdom. :)
