burgundy, join hre or no, and how?

how to join hre should I ally austria etc?

If you complete some missions there is reward that adds your provinces to HRE. Or you could just become emperor it's not that hard, just ally electors, hire dip rep advisor, keep legitimacy and prestige high.
Overall being part of HRE is always good - it protects you fromoutside attack and allows you to expand into HRE land.
