Did anyone make a list of Burgundian (fantasy) leaders (and monarchs, if possible) for the post-inheritance period? I'm thinking of starting a new campaign with Burgundy, but it would be raher dull without an occasional leader or two...
A lot of these were foreginers though...Originally posted by Kelvin
Hmm, I remeber seeing in some thread a proposal to make a list of burgundian leaders from the list of the members of the Order of the Golden Fleece or something, but nobody ever did anything?
If you manage to separate them from the rest on that list I'm sure you'll get a nice list of possible leadersOriginally posted by Kelvin
So why not use only those that belonged geographically to the Burgundian lands?

As for sifting through the list, no thank you. I would like to have a life, for example![]()
Historically I'd say probably not. The Dutch leaders were geared by the Dutch spirit; i.e. merchant or merchant stock, local nobility fighting the foreigners. Burgundy would probably be better for the local Dutch nobility compared to Spain, but since we have no experience through history it's hard to tell... Many of the explorers would probably not have emerged in a "Royalist" Burgundy though, since (AFAIK) they were mostly financed by the merchant cities...Originally posted by Kelvin
Well, would it be justifiable to use Netherlands' leaders, provided they're made dormant and activated only if Burgundy controls most of the Low Countries and Netherlands doesn't exist?
