Considering how much I enjoy playing CK2, I decided to go wild and buy all cosmetic DLCs. I set my eyes on the Imperial Collection and the various packs available on Steam. Being a frugal bastard that I am, I put their prices in a spreadsheet to make sure I'm saving as much money as possible.

Two things surprised me. First, it appears it is in fact cheaper to buy the Ultimate Unit Pack separately rather than to purchase its contents as part of the Imperial Collection (granted, the difference is about 0.34 USD, so I don't think anyone really cares).

Secondly, the African Portraits DLC only appears in the Ultimate Portrait Pack: it's neither in the Imperial Collection nor in the store by itself (unless it's the same thing as the East African Portrait Pack which is a part of the The Reaper's Due Content Pack).

Needless to say, I'm confused. Is everything working as intended?

I think they gave everyone African Portraits for free so that's something you don't have to worry about.
