I was watching a Youtube video on communist Bulgaria in Hoi4, and this event gave a negative version of the "Fatherland Front" after the player went to war with the USSR. In this case, the player went communist via the advisor, and never completed the Fatherland Front focus:
If I was planning on annexing Romania, and on a likely collision course with the USSR over Bessarabia, what can I do to avoid this Fatherland Front coup event when I go to war?
I was thinking that if I completed the Fatherland Front focus before going to war with the USSR, maybe I could sidestep this event. But this focus is difficult to complete after you already flip communist, since it seems to have to war with a Fascist major to start the focus after you've changed your government (see the last set of conditions):
So what are the other things I can do (if any) to avoid this coup event. Or maybe I only need to worry about it for offensive wars (which is what the YouTuber had declared) against the USSR? Please share any tips you have on this issue.
