SUGGESTION: Buildings Improving Organically
Here, I would present an idea that my egoistic self feels is quite a good one, but prolly unlikely to be implemented.
But I need to get it off my chest.
I feel that the benefits of certain structures constructed in a province (I assume this is how things would work) could experience increments due to the status of the province. For example, a trade-heavy province should perhaps have its commercial structures slowly improve etc.
This, I think, gives the game more flavour with "Great Buildings" coming to existence without the artificial Wonders system of Civ4. So perhaps Alexandria's library would be rivalled by the great repository of the north in Eboracum, home to an equal amount of texts because of the great amount of investment in technological advancement by its ruler.
Or something like that.
It's a stretch I know.
cheers
