Bugs with 1.01

-wont launch under 1080p resolution have to change it to 1680X1200

-everytime I try to save "cannot open file scenario\savegames\Germany_February_3.eug
abort continue ignore

Is this a common thing? Before patch 1.01 the game worked fine with 1080p resolution and never had these problems. Using AOD with 1.05 and IC with 1.01 checksum I have is NZDF

It is natural, it was the same situation with the revison 1, 2. And for all previous HOI based games.

Run the game as admin, should sort the problem out regarding saving, seems likes you installed yours in the default 'program files' folder, vista/7 doesn't like un-privileged programs doing anything related to saving, modifying in the program files folder, I install all my games on a partitioned part of my hard drive.

Unusual i have my game installed into the program files folder, but i have my User Account Control (UAC) off. UAC is annoying for many reasons so i would just recomend googling how to turn it off.

Just kidding, I usually play as Germany, more fun tbh. Besides since השוה is not part of the game, it never happens in the timeline.

Emm, I am also having the game crash problem (didn't come just to make stupid comments ) with save and autosave (same thing of course, one being user action, the other automatic and all.) I trust this will be fixed soon? In the mean time, maybe pit am advisory to run as admin and all that.

am, while you or I might not need it, since I suspect you don't visit suspicious sites (and I rarely do), it's not really needed. However, that pop-up serves the important function of making sure a suspicious file like, godforbid, a rootkit does not infect your computer (and then wreak havoc upon your HDD). So I would not post a recommendation having people turn that off.

P.S. no discussion of the topic I put in Hebrew ._. IC-only. (it would be rude to do otherwise :XXX)

Try to run the game in another resolution like 1024x768

I tried running a fresh 1.04 game (for some odd reason the 1.05 installation always get screwy) as admin and it worked, and it was set by default to 1024 X 768. It looked weird on a screen meant 1920 X 1050 or w/e it is.

USA is afraid of taking unprotected land in Africa, France does that also. 1.01 on Armageddon 1.2. Otherwise in the same game they were good in Europe and Asia

Off topic but are there any events post war that will make USSR go to war with the Allies? It would most likely be scuicide for them seeing how USA has about 2X there IC + all the Allies. Also how come Italy got Africa when they were puppeted by USA, and USA stole my puppet (Ethiopia) when he puppeted Italy i was UK.

It might be there are events, but you should check the events folder to be sure. ^^ I haven't gotten that far. ;-; I think I saw something about post-war, but that might have been the HPP mod in HoI3, not sure.

It's unrealistic for the USSR to declare war on the Allies or vice versa immediately after German surrender anyhow. I really don't like the forced cold war scenario which all versions of HoI2 attempts to pull us through.

P.S. The Soviets should leave Persia after WWII, but they never seem to

It isn't if you have the right events to lead up to it. Also you should reg your other games as well, not just IC. It's more fun that way and you can access more forums if you want. :X

Actually i kept on playing and they have. But Japan still is holding out and USA is making no attempts. They have about 30 aircraft flying coast to coast in USA, apparently they reverted their military planes into commercial planes.
