Since this patch was released I can't import some of my models upright anymore. When it lays on the side it's perfectly fine but once I use the rotate tools in the preview it does nothing when I click continue.



Is this a known issue already? Any workaround? Many people are waiting for this model...

Edit: Upon further investigation it turns out that I can import it upright at scale 0.5 and below. So the problem seems to be related to the height of the model.

Since the patch I am now getting this message:

I was updating texture maps on a temple and re-imported it as a new asset. No changes to the model in Maya and had exact same export settings that worked pre-patch, now whatever I create and import the game generates these errors. Game reads the FBX files and shows the assets in game ok so I save and exit the editor. Upon reload I get the error message :-(.

But I'd really like to hear some official statement regarding my issue. It is not my model but certainly the game that causes the problem :( Can I at least de-patch to 1.0.7b somehow???

After playing around I can confirm for me: Creating new props generates the error. Props created under the previous patch are unaffected as long as you don't edit them. I can create new building assets from fbx without generating an error. One thing the patch has done for me at least for this asset:

Towards the end of loading into a savegame tips go all funky on me (since 1.0.7c).

The other issue is performance, which is currently pretty terrible, compared to previous versions. Same thing was going on with CIM 2, each update had its own performance qualities, some of the updates made the game run real smooth, other udates were simply catastrophic, must be related to Unity or something ...

Will the waterdam that NEVER produce power be fixed ? and can something be done with only being able to have 9 titles, and not the entire map in time?

And will it stay as your ENTIRE pop will be educated to higher universiti, as everyone is able to get a degree ? seams overly humanistic and very unrealistik

I don't know if you've noticed my post: https://forum.paradoxplaza.com/foru...team-keeps-reverting-my-game-to-1-0-5.848739/

For some reason, Steam constantly download version 1.0.5 on my computer. I can get the latest version by clicking on "verify integrity of Game Cache", but as soon as the new version is installed, Steam starts reverting it back to 1.0.5

Please could you help me with this? Why is steam doing this, and is there anything I can do to prevent it?

The dam is fiddly, but it works. You might be building it at a too high position. If the water doesn't fill the reservoir to a minimum level, it does not activate. The game does not communicate it well enough to the player, but the asset is not broken.

9 tiles is the limit set by CO but there's a mod to lift this limit, allowing for all 26 tiles to be used.

Education is too easy currently, there are a few mods to change that as well. I guess the devs will introduce some rebalance eventually, but the game will always be 'easy mode' by default.

Dams are working just fine...


Other than: Hopefully we get some train track content officially or option to remove those station track scissors lines. Also harbor road would be nice to be upgrade able :)

Greetings Chirpies!
Easter is over, and so is the wait for the next patch for Cities: Skylines. As previously mentioned our core focus lies in solving the most common technical and accessibility issues some users are experiencing which should be clearly noticeable in this update...


Why nobody want to fix intersections' icons? I thought it is THE MOST common technical and accessibility issue. Game is unplayeble now for me, i cant play it since 10.03.2015, because of too many intersections and i want them all to use! But not like now, without icons.

In the constructor menu, when I loading the intersections i can see its screenshots.
Can you allow the game to use this window from the constractor to choose the intersections?
Because of it has no icons now. But i have too much intersections from the workshop :( Very hard to find the right one without any screenshots.

And plz do something with emergency service, they have no priority on the road AT ALL
Many countries have a separate lane for emergency services and buses, but no roads like that in the game(((

It is planned feature, this 1.07c was more like urgent bug fix. Perhaps Colossal Order should do patching with Intel's Tick-Tock method? First features, then bug fixes, then features, bug fixes.

Also go browse Skylines forum section a bit. I think there was a manual method to add intersection icons.
