bug with senarios?

greetings

since i am new here i am feel bad my first post is about a bug.

i was really happy to see that so many great senarios were downloadable here, especially the 1204 senario from Andron and Cuke...great effort from them, awesome to play in the ruins of an empire. the thing is that the game CTD after about 11 months in-game time, from sept 1204 to august 1205.
this is constant CTD and august is terminal...i mean i get it earlier too, but in august you cannot advance even a day after you reload.
since 1204 is of particular interest to me, i have started more than 20 games with various fractions but all get stuck (ultimately) in august 1205.
interestingly i didnt get any CTD when played the 1187 paradox senario(went into 1212 with that one), but did get one similar when i tried the downloadable 1066 extended senario...
i was using the standart game with all the patches and latest addons(all patches since the begining and the aug15 beta +aug17 minifix).... to make it more clear, i uninstaled it all and then installed basic + 1.04 +1.04a + aug15 +aug17....

i still get the same crashes

please tell me if i need anything additional on patches or beta's or if there is anything i can manually do in the 1204 senarios

It may be that the 1204 scenario is not compatible with the newest betas, I suggest you ask in the thread/sub-forum where this scenario has been made, as people will know more about your problem there.

okay thanks, i will ask them. i am just not so sure its the modifications or the latest beta that does the CTD. moving my request to the modifications area

The 1204 scenario is very likely not to work with the August beta. Andron's attachement will definately work with June beta. However, I'm not that sure about my update.

In my opinion, the likely explanations of crashes in August '05 are: A male of non-existent dynasty gets a child; or one of characters has no dynasty at all and has a child (we had such a mistake earlier).

i figured out it had something to do with pregnancies, given that the game starts at september 1204 and ultimately crashes in august 1205...that gives a wife a two months time (randomly if she is moderately fertile) to concieve and 9 months to give birth...so its babies (and their fathers) with faulty dynasties...
okay, i will have to fix that manualy....do you know any of the non-existent dynasties? (in numbers, dyn = ******) or what does a char with no dynasty look like? i mean "dyn = ???"

Sorry, can't help you with numbers this week... A char with no dynasty looked exactly like that: no "dyn" entry at all. I'm confident that all characters (added recently) were cut-and-pasted carefully, so there is no such char in the scenario.
However, I'm suspicious of the dynasties file I had to compile. I didn't check if and how the old file (for June beta) is different from the one I posted. If you compare the June-updated file and the latest beta file screen-by-screen (IMHO most effective way of updating), your help will be greatly appreciated.

okay, i will gladly help. So,your version is with Flanders given to Balduin's older daughter...(is that one for aug15 beta?)
the older file (for june 3 beta) is Andron's? i will try to compare both dynasties' files , if thats what you meant. By the way both wont work and crash around July to August 1205.

You can if you get me a computer . I 'updated' my version but I can't check if it works properly. Expect database mismatches and broken marriage links. Please, PLEASE post here if something is wrong.
