Bug? with Factories in the Ledger

I don’t know how this happened but it definitely looked buggy to me. IIRC I had just changed my voting rites to Landed (I was Sardinia, in a Monarchy) and when to the factory ledger screen to check on my factories only to find 3 of my factories being listed (Lux cloths, Arty and Explosive).

Paused.

Checked the states and all my other factories were there, all manned, all working perfectly. Checked my budget, I was only getting the money for the 3 factories stated above. Unpaused for a day, no change. Let it run for a few days and then things returned to normal.

Has any one else seen this? And if so is it a feature or a bug?

Are you saying that you could only see 3 factories in the ledger or that only 3 factories gave you any revenue?

Something similar happens to me. At first look only some of my factories appear in the list. When I click every column for a new sorting all the factories appear. Btw, great job guys

Sometimes, the ledger scrolls down too low. Then you see only the lowest few lines. When youy scroll up again, you will see all the factories.

I have also had factories not showing on ledger and not generating revenue - I found that when I sort the ledger list (by profit, for example), the factories reappear on the list and start generating revenue as well.

Both, but I can't replicate it. I'm beginning to think that I just panicked.

The 3 factories only being displayed I can now understand as I've since see it happen if you add workers or something like that from the ledger. But I didn't do that in this case, because at the time of this problem I only knew how to sort by profit, eff, ect..

As for the second part the loss of revenue it might just be because I build a unit or converted a POP and revenue was lost as the goods were restocked.

I’ll try one more time to replicate it and if I can’t I’ll put it down to human erroro

No, I am positive I have seen this too. Happens very rarely, and I don't know what it takes to get it to show.

He's saying that only part of the ledger was actually shown. What happens is that you go to the ledger, and it gives you a view of _fewer_ manufactories than you actually have and then the usual blank lines below those, as if you are at the end of the list, and the view has scrolled just a few lines down. (Sounds weird, but that is what it looks like). It can be resolved by sorting by some other criteria or using the scrollbar.

It is a bitch to recreate, but it is real enough in 1.01. As far as I remember, Johan has already fixed this one for 1.02. Will check later this week.

i don't know about that- it happens to me ALL the time. a simple sort on one of the columns works fine though.

good news if its fixed, though.
