Hi everyone,

There's something that I discovered when playing Castile just recently. In the Claims in Aragon mission, my claims are given to Naples instead of me. I still got the personal union over Portugal, however, Naples got my permanent claims for whatever reason... your guess is as good as mine as to why this happened.

On top of that I have gotten an event two or three times now that seems to be bugged as well (I forget the specific name of the event, but I'll describe the options to the best of my abilities); get a free temple in Province(s), get two buffs; a 3 unrest reduction and +0.5 yearly prestige in Province(s), and get 50 Admin points as well as gain 1 unrest in "province(s)" and take a loyalty hit of -5 to the clergy. Note that I wrote "Province(s)" because the event never specifies which province(s) is/are getting affected. Furthermore, no matter what I chose the effects never apply. (One more thing that I just noticed as well, my "permanent claims" in Portugal seem to be up and disappeared, never to be seen again)

Here's a picture showing the issue with the mission:

On top of that I have gotten an event two or three times now that seems to be bugged as well (I forget the specific name of the event, but I'll describe the options to the best of my abilities); get a free church in Province(s), get two buffs in Province(s), and take a loyalty hit from one of the estates and a few buffs. Note that I wrote "Province(s)" because the event never specifies which province(s) is/are getting affected. Furthermore, no matter what I chose the effects never apply. The claims in Portugal are not given to you if Portugal is independent when you complete the mission, but if he is a subject you get permaclaims instead. So when you completed the mission you got the restoration of Union instead, but now, as Portugal is not independent (as you are his liege) the mission reward is displayed as permaclaims. The same is happening with Naples. You get a restoration of union over Naples unless Naples does not exist or is not independent. If he is independent you get a restoration of Union. The permaclaims that Naples is getting are not claims, but cores, and they did not get them from the mission but those cores exist from game start.

In general, the mission rewards are displayed as what would they be if they were awarded at this moment, but they might defer from the reward you actually got.

The event you refer to is efectively bugged rn.

Update: Got the bugged event twice again. The title of the event is "The Eyes Are Not Here". All of the outcomes of the event do not apply as well as don't specify what "province(s)" are being affected

I had a look at the event code of that event (the event id is colonial_nation.191) and it looks to be bugged in multiple ways. It is a province event, but then it has an immediate hidden effect which tries to select a random_owned_province to apply these effects. But that doesn't work, because random_owned_province is not valid in the province scope. That's why the effects which try to do something with the province don't work. And it seems unnecessary, because the event could just use the province for which the event triggered. And the other effects don't work, because they are country effects and don't apply to the province scope. And one event option adds a temple, but this event can fire for an ongoing colony and I think it should not be possible to add a temple to an unfinished colony.

There are already two bugreports about that:
