BUG: war between allies

war between allies

I don't know if it happens to someone else....

Germany (Axis) in 1942 suddently became Allied, but still in war with UK and the other allied.
The problem is that is not possible make peace and every territories Uk conquer became Vichy (Axis) so is a big mess!!

Germany changed alliance the same day that Japan take Siam (but I doubt it means something).

Vichy follow Germany and became Allied, but like Germany still at war with allies. (in the diplomatic screen Vichy is still Axis but in th e text is allied with UK and France)

No mods

I change only the italian leader file (but now I'm playng as Uk)

It happens again.

I try to continue the same game with an old save. The game seems work fine , with many differences from previous game but again when Japan put pressure on Siam, Germany (and Vichy)leave axis alliance became allied but remains in war with UK and all the other allied.

I can think of at least one possibility that would cause this situation:
1. Japan is Axis
2. Vichy is German puppet but not Axis
3. Axis is at war with Allies
4. Japan declares war on Vichy
5. Since Vichy is German puppet, Japan is now at war with Germany too
6. Since Japan is Axis Germany and Vichy join Allies

Would that work?

I resume the situation

1942
Axis Germany Italy Japan Vichy and others in war with Allies
Allied: UK (me) France Usa Siam and others in war with Axis

The 1 November the sitaution change with all this events
1 Japan put pressure on Siam
2 Germany left Axis
3 Germany enters Allies
4 Vichy enters Allies
5 Japan aligns Siam

Now the situation is
Germany Allied (controls Vichy) but still in war with UK and others Allied
Vichy Axis +military allied with Allied + in war with Allied
Siam Allied in war with Japan and other Axis
Uk allied with Germany and Vichy but in war with Germany and Vichy (I tried many times to make peace with Germany but without result)

How could Germany leave the axis? What events are involved in this?

I read the thread and maybe it is the same situation, except I didn't declare war on two enemies.....

German leave alliance without any explication and then join the Allies...

I still don't understand why that happened, maybe there is not a check on the Siam event to control if Vichy is on the same side or something like this...
