I am trying to understand the relationship between clerk jobs, and the corresponding amenities and trade value produced by pops working these jobs. I am also wondering how 'Trade Value from Pops' is calculated.
Regarding Clerks:
It is very difficult to understand which modifiers apply to clerks.
My 7 clerks are currently producing 16 amenities and 14 trade value in the population screen. Base production is 2 amenities and 2 trade value per clerk, and there are no modifiers listed like with other jobs (EG technician).
Where are those other 2 amenities coming from? With other worker jobs, these production values are modified by things like governor and stability explicitly in the tool tip, and it is easy to understand what modifiers are applied and what the net result is. It is hard to tell with Clerks, especially regarding Amenities, which seem to have some hidden production bonuses.
I can determine ultimately how trade value from clerks is modified by viewing these modifiers on the tooltip for trade value on planet overview. However, Trade Value is also obfuscated by the "TV from pops" section on the trade value tooltip.
Regarding 'Trade Value from Pops':
How much trade value is being produced by each pop (clerk or not)? Spiritual pops in my megachurch produce extra TV relative to others. It would be nice to know the base TV being produced by each population (which I believe is modified by the living standard?), and what modifier(s) apply to it on the population screen.
