The revolution will not be televised... until Jan 0
Testing the coup d' etat rules in 1.02, I played USA in the 1936 scenario. Provoking a revolution was no problem, but engaging in diplomacy afterwards was: I should be able to declare war, join alliances etc since I had become Stalinist, but all of those actions were grayed out and the tool tip said "You cannot declare war on [nation X] again until Jan 0".
The stalinist party might be in love with internal strife, but one should think them capable of action within 60 years of holding office...
I later tested with going for the Left-Wing Radicals and the Jan 0 issue stayed the same.
