Soviet DOWS on democracies in 36 scenario

When the SU dows a democracy, this drives UK and US WE down.

However French WE skyrockets (by over 80 %), where upon France proceeds in short order to declare war on ........ Germany

This problem occurs only in the 36 scenario , as in 39/41 allies are already at war.

This is odd...
I start USSR 36, play a few months and dow democratic Ethiopia. This lowered the WE for USA, UK and France. So i dow denmark. same result WE lowered it has a negative value.

Then i dow Switzerland and BOOOM the WE is maxed for France and almost for UK.

Half a month later the axis and allies are at war. this is in summer 1936...

It seems like the WE goes down when DOW:ing some democracies and skyrocket when it happens to others.

Well the point is why should Germany be "punished" for soviet misbehavior... Allies should declare war on soviets not Germany...and allied WE vs Germany should be reduced....

You can reproduce this easlisy in the 1936 scenario by having SU dow Poland.

Anything gonna get done about this pb ?

At present when we start a 36 scenario we have to implement a house rule : No soviet dows on democracies until allies are at war..

Without this rule, Germany is done my mid 36 (Soviet puppet it while French take a few western provinces)

I haven't seen a USSR DoW'ing a democracy with 1.03b yet, but I have with 1.03 (notice the lack of the b). In that version, the USSR DoW drove the WE for France and UK up, but the net result was a DoW of France/UK on the USSR, as it should.

It was even quite hilarious, as both France and the USSR asked me, human Germany, for military access.

So, if it doesn't work that way in 1.03b anymore, than the latest patch has broken something that has worked correctly.

I didnt see that happen yet but I did get Dowed as SU once by the Allies in the Finsih winterwar event>War
Aperently Germany didnt go to war with a Allied Poland and the Allies desided the USSR were the Bad guys lol

wierd.. and I quit the game at that point
