Are tournaments bugged ?. It seems when I host one everyone gets Maimed ( unless that is common but it seems everyone is getting maimed ) . Not sure if its a bug or what but it feels like one when everyone is getting maimed in one tournament

Define "everyone". If you mean every single person who attends the tourney, that's certainly odd -- but I just held a tournament in a test game and that didn't happen, so if that's what you're getting then I'd first ask for the basic info: what version of the mod are you using, and what is your checksum.

If you really mean "quite a lot", then it's unlikely to be a bug. Wounded/Maimed events during a tournament are quite random.

I am using the up to date Mod and the checksum is PTAU

Sorry I meant Quite a lot ( I hosted a tourney as the Carolingian Empire start playing as the Carolingian Empire ) So I am going to guess its normal for that large of a empire to have a lot of people get wounded/Maimed during a tourney Sorry for my mis use of words

Eh I thought that it was funny that it happened to so many people. Maybe its normal that it does since its a empire etc. Thanks for the information !

Yeah that is WAD for large empires, I do get ~20 wounded/maimed as Persian Empire as well.
Though I agree getting noticed about every single wound can be annoying. But that's what the "Don't bother me with such details!" option is for, right? Shouldn't it hide future notifications?

My CK2 game (using Shattered Worlds) is crashing right after the Death of Khagan Genghis event. Is this an issue? I can provide the savegame if necessary.

If you can provide the savegame, then please do -- though there was a bug with the event that's fixed in the current dev build, so if it's that then there's not much to be done. Even so, I'd like to check it out.

It does, though I could perhaps change the notification event to only inform you of deaths and wounds/maiming of members of your family/court, as the "don't bother me" option eliminates all notifications for anyone other than yourself.

When I restore the roman empire from byzantium, the kingdom of Bulgaria disappears de jure, and the duchies of Thrace, Adrianopolis, Karvuna and Turnovo has not Kingdom de jure.

Other question: when i restore the roman empire and repair the great schism, the imperial coronation is the same as others empires: no more "Strong Basileius" or "Coronated Basileius" trait. Is this a bug?

You'll have to explain this a bit more -- it's impossible to have no de jure kingdom. I'll either need a save or some screenshots to investigate.

Other question: when i restore the roman empire and repair the great schism, the imperial coronation is the same as others empires: no more "Strong Basileius" or "Coronated Basileius" trait. Is this a bug?

Not a bug. That system is for Byzantium only. It would require some changes (in the text, mostly) to also extend it to the Roman Empire proper.

Huh. I wonder if that's a result of the work Scwarherz was doing on the Roman Empire de jure changes? I think he'd meant to comment it all out in the last release, as it wasn't finished, but maybe some was left in.

Seeing land with no de jure kingdom is a new one, though, even so.

Huh. I wonder if that's a result of the work Scwarherz was doing on the Roman Empire de jure changes? I think he'd meant to comment it all out in the last release, as it wasn't finished, but maybe some was left in.

Seeing land with no de jure kingdom is a new one, though, even so.
I noticed when I finished it in the dev version that there was some stuff that didn't get commented out so...probably. Should be fixed next version though (I'll even give you the event id to run in the console to properly fix it)

So uh, about this new "imperial decadence" thingy...
9206062015052300014.jpg

I suppose "11999" wasn't an intended value ?
Fortunately, it "only" sets the malus as of 81+ decadence, so it's still possible to manage the empire, if much more difficult obviously...
Hope this will not make my young heir's regency a total nightmare though.

Can you give me some background on how that happened? The variable is just that: a number stored on the title, so even loading an old save where the system didn't exist should still start you off at 0. So I'm curious how you got that value, if you've any idea.

No idea either, I discovered this value when I gave a try to the new "reduce imperial decadence" ambition.
When I first saw the icon, in 1263, the decadence value was indicated as "10-20". It skyrocketed in 3 year and next time I gave it a check it was at 11999.
I suppose, but am not entirely sure, that this number was generated after a viceroyalty was given back after the death of a vassal.

There is no "reduce imperial decadence" ambition. What are you referring to?

And the value is only supposed to go up when the title is passed onto an heir (or you do things like lose wars)...so I need to understand what you mean by "it skyrocketed in 3 year". Did your ruler die? How did it skyrocket? And what do you mean "next time I gave it a check"? Every time the Imperial Decadence value changes, you would be notified via the message box. Unless you're ignoring the message box completely, I'm not sure how it could leap from 10-20 to a value in the thousands. That's rather odd, to say the least.

Was this a loaded save, or brand new with the latest mod version? And do you have the correct checksum?

Whoa, that's a lot of questions ^^ !
First I want you to be assured that this is not a major issue to me. I'm perfectly aware of the fragility of CK2 saves when it comes to updates, so if my game has been rendered unplayable (which is not the case as of yet), I can totally survive it and start again ;) !

Let's answer your questions one by one and in an appropriate order :

- "Was this a loaded save, or brand new with the latest mod version? And do you have the correct checksum?"
My game version is 2.3.4, and the checksum is BKIG, so everything is correct on that matter. However, my Zoroastrian empire game was started a week ago, so this is an "old save" and there are chances that this would be the reason of this whole mess. More details afterwards.

- "Did your ruler die?"
No. Last time I saved this game was thursday evening, before the last version release. My former emperor JUST died and a new one had inherited. There was no "imperial decadence" icon at this time, it only showed up when I loaded my save today. This comforted me in the idea that things were going smoothly with an old save.

- "There is no "reduce imperial decadence" ambition. What are you referring to?"
Sorry, I mistyped here, I obviously should have written decision, not ambition. It is shown on the screenshot.

- "How did it skyrocket? And what do you mean "next time I gave it a check"?"
First time I saw the icon was upon loading. I had just read the patch note and I wanted to make sure it applied correctly to my game, which it appeared to have. At the time I started playing -circa 1263 in game- my decadence value indicated 10-20, with some minor maluses like -8,0% levies and -0.4 taxes or something like that (I'm just giving what numbers my memory can somehow gather, this is not essential anyway). 3 years later, in 1266 when I decided to give a try to the new decision to reduce decadence, I saw the number 11999.
The ONLY important event that happened during these 3 years was a vassal dying and the inheritance of a vice-royalty. nothing else.

- "Every time the Imperial Decadence value changes, you would be notified via the message box. Unless you're ignoring the message box completely, I'm not sure how it could leap from 10-20 to a value in the thousands. That's rather odd, to say the least."
This is odd indeed, but since the save was an old one, there might be no reason to look any further. I never saw any kind of notification regarding my decadence value in 3 years. And I DO check my message box all the time of course.

Anyway, once again, this is not a major issue to me. Just a silly annoyance I can perfectly live with seeing how all-powerful I have become anyway.
The game was becoming a bit boring as I had absolutely no competition at this state and it was essentially managing suceptibilities and keeping my throne safe decades after decades.
I'll continue as much as I can with it, and if it becomes seriously unplayable, meh, I'll just start a new one, no big deal really.

I just reported this oddity so that you would know that it was out there for old saves :).
