Its an pre-determined event the chance of Success or Failure based on plot power doesn't matter.(cause 20 percent chance of success and not getting caught just seemed to low) I just switch the plot type. From " Fab Evidence of Treason" To just Kill the guy. I had a higher plot chance with killing him 996% (even my rival joined in). But I would like to see the Formula Used? It used to be about 200 percent plot power would get you about 70% success rate with still a 30 percent chance of failing? That still true? I don't know why I got the event associated with that plot.(They didn't go together) I guess I should have phrased my statement into question. And been more level headed. So sorry for the rant I was just pissed cause I had start over.

This was about the Fabricate Treason plot, not the Fabricate Heresy plot? Then why all the whinging about the Pope and your target being a heretic?

Sigh.

Okay, I've looked at THAT plot, and it seems there is indeed an issue with its plot success calculation (and a few other similar plots). It's just using the base values, currently, and will be fixed for the next version. Thank you for reporting the bug in such a clear and sensible manner.

(but to be honest I've noticed this for ages)

In 12th century starts the Duchies of Jaffa-Ascalon & Galilee are always held by someone in Flanders, resulting in a county or two there being part of Jerusalem and some French or HRE fellow being a vassal of the King. First it's the de Boulogne family, then it moves to de Flandres. This does not seem WAD and I'm confused because there're no holders in the title histories after King Godfrey, so I'm puzzled as to how it's happening. Also, the County of Langres in France, with a bishopric capital, is always labeled "No Character" and then is held by the King of Portugal on game start—quoi?

Not exactly a bug... but, why is there Jussi Banu l-ukhaidhir character in the court of Bjorn of Allir in 1066 start? Banu l-ukhaidhir is a dynasty that ruled Arabia and supposedly are descendants of Muhammad's daughter Fatima.. am I missing something? Did Ahmad ibn Fadlan left a son in Scandinavia? :p

Hi again all,

I'm pretty positive sure I have a game bug although I'm sure it might be easily solvable.

It occurs when I'm using the hip mod when interaction with DLC and when trying to customize my coat of arms and upon pressing the "Layout" button, neither the left nor right button function works. Dud. Obviously the screenshot is not going show much because the event is not firing.

In the screenshot notice and look very carefully that the button pointing to the right is slightly darker than it's counterpart. That is me pressing the button, that I can give.

Could you post a screenshot of the character, preferably with his ID shown? There are only 6 Ukhaidhirid characters defined in SWMH, and none of them has any definition that would make him end up in Scandinavia. Nor is there any Ukhaidhirid character named Jussi...

Ah, I got it - it's a vanilla bug, found in history/characters/swedish.txt. The issue isn't present in SWMH, so we'll have to wait for Paradox to fix the dynasty for him. Unless it's meant to be an easter egg....

Not a bug, there is only one layout since the game engine only generates bad stuff with it, so i de-activated such possiblity.
Sadly it is an all or nothing thing, one cannot de-activate it only for random generation and keeping it for the ruler designer.

Lock the slots to use the same design? Well, you can't lock slots -- part of the point of the non-plain layout, so no, I don't think so.

I just noticed that all rebels and adventurer hosts are acting strangely in a save I've got going. Armies for both are being represented by muslim heavy cavalry units and adventurers are all ducal bishops. I believe it has been happening since the latest update (w/o Conclave, started the game before I bought it).

Lock the slots to use the same design? Well, you can't lock slots -- part of the point of the non-plain layout, so no, I don't think so.
You can link the design between the slots, which forces all the slots use the same design, while still allowing different color settings:

I Cant seem to pay back a loan I never took. Must have been one of the random event from the start of the game?
That's because you're using external mods or something. That modifier re: owing 350g to Jewish moneylenders is not used by EMF at all. EMF uses a different loan mechanic, which is why you can't pay it back.

If you received an event where your steward gave you 300 Wealth, that's likely where you got the modifier from -- that's a vanilla Conclave event, with a follow-up event two weeks later where the jews come to collect, though there's no way to remove the modifier in EMF. The event will need to be removed.

Don't know why you wouldn't have received the follow-up event two weeks later. It has no conditions.

Either way, like I said, you can't remove the modifier once it's applied. The vanilla event assumes the "repay the jews" decision exists, which it does not in EMF. Other than just not getting the event in the first place (it's random, and requires having a Proud treasurer with <8 stewardship), there's nothing to be done about it.

What my man @Rylock said, but if saying no to the event is an option, just do that -- definitely don't disable Conclave over that event. We'll grease it up properly for use without caveats in our next EMF beta snapshot (and thus next release too, of course).

Issue #1: So I was starting a fresh install of HIP with a few sidemods and I continue to get this with certain counties in the game. The "last" completed holding has this CoA everytime and whenever clicked on always routes to some random Middle-Eastern ruler. The holding doesn't actually "exist" according to the game and thereby takes up a holding that I could be using. In addition, it seems that occasionally, county capitals seem to be deleted as well, as I discovered on an Italian campaign when Pisa's capital was simply non-existent, preventing me from granting the county but still giving me the barony vassals. I believe it boils down to an error where certain holdings and titles have been deleted. I've reinstalled several times, uninstalled BLG and Cultural Cities Remix as I thought this was posing a problem, and I still have this issue.

Issue #2: I have this blank province every time in the Aegean, along with independent counts and all in places I dont think they are supposed to be. Similar to the Armenian situation, I dont know if this realm breakup was intended or not.
