There is the law No King's Peace in the Kingdom of France - although there is Internal King's Peace in my liege's primary title of the Kingdom of Aquitaine - but I cannot declare war on other vassals within France, even though the entirety of their land and their vassals' land is within France, as is mine.

I have the most recent version of the mod.

Hey, just wanted to let you guys know the Italian cultures in the 867 start for SWMH have the default western unit sprite instead of either the dlc Italian unit pack or the early medieval sprites. It looks pretty anachronistic.

Not a huge deal, but i thought i'd point it out!

This is CPRplus's doing, and there's a bug-related reason to it.

A random crash happens in the year 950, when there's an early-era to late-era change to unit sprites and portrait graphics. This is random in the sense that, if it doesn't crash, you don't have any problem; but once it does, the game will keep crashing even if you reload the latest save game. We have identified the Italian Unit Pack as the cause of this crash, but there's nothing inherently crash-inducing about the content of the DLC - only that the crash happens only if the Italian Unit Pack DLC is enabled.

And then we discovered something weird again: for whatever reason, the game doesn't crash if early-era unit sprites are defined for the Italian graphic culture. The smart thing to do here would have been to make a custom unit sprite out of the early-era unit sprites from Charlemagne, but missing sprites causes a sure crash. So in this case, users who don't own Charlemagne will not be able to run the game without CPRplus; and removing the early-era unit sprite entries for the Italian graphic culture will still leave them vulnerable to the possible crash in the year 950.

So I had to add early-era Italian unit sprites that will work for everyone. And that meant using vanilla Western unit sprites. Anachronistic, I know - but this was the only way to fix the issue completely.

If the wrong unit sprites bothers you, delete HIP folder/interface/italiangfx_early.gfx. If you experience repeated crashes in 950, then restore the file.

Not sure what this is but I'm playing as Ubbe (Subject of Jorvik) in the 867 start date and my poor old brother Jarl Ivar of Sudrayjarir can't seem to subjugate anybody, in the Sons of Lodbrok invasion of England he had the war score at 100 but when the war ended with an Ivar victory he gained nothing of Northumbria's territory, I'm pretty sure that this war was won by capturing the enemy leader and I think Ivar executed him.

Now we've just defeated Jarl Ketill of Laithlinnr in a subjugation war but again Ivar hasn't taken over any of Laithlnnr's titles, this war was won by me capturing Jarl Ketill himself and he was automatically released as soon as he conceded defeat, is this feature working as intended and do I have to win wars without capturing the enemy leaders for titles to switch hands? Poor old Ivar can't seem to catch a break, even when he wins he loses :(

For raiders, the "Raider" trait does not save properly. My rulers would have it during gameplay; ater a save, exit and reload, the trait would become missing.

Same here, at least with Ibadi and Mazdan nomads. I haven't tried it with pagans yet, and the trait description mentions pagan...

Not sure what the deal would be, but I'll look into it here at some point in between compatching.

Hi HIP mod team, I recently got CK2 and I have seen your mod from afar for a while, thus I would like to install your mod. But when I install it, following your instructions sufficiently I feel- as I was able to successfully get it into the mod folder and otherwise have it available to check on start up, but if I start to launch up the game, I am successful until just before it finishes loading graphics. I am unclear what my error.log means, so I shall leave that below.

- snip -

As a note, due to my interpretation of the text given, I didn't directly install any of the modules, merely specified which ones I wanted in the installer. I am running Base CK2 if that makes any different but still as version 2.4.5

Given the errors in your error.log, I can say with absolute certainty that the CK2game.exe which you're running to generate it is v2.5.1 and not v2.4.5. Check Steam setup, re-apply the 2.4.5 "beta" status if need be, restart Steam, etc.

@ML8991 Yes, it should.

Now I'm having some kind of trouble too. (not sure if it's a bug or just a gameplay feature)
Whenever I join a faction, especially one like the prosperity/tradition/glory/..., I get a message from the king where he forbids me to join a faction ever again. Now so far no problem BUT I'm having this every time, with every character which joins one of those court/glory factions and mostly within a month of 2. Is this normal? I've never been able to use that new faction system to it's fullest since It's mostly with those 4 new factions where I get kicked on my butt by the king :/

When I join like a claimant faction, it takes much longer for the king to take action and I actually have a chance of making a faction's purpose come true...

Love to hear what you think,
grtz,
Vandilion

Hi ziji, are independent dukes forbidden from revoking titles? There's no title revocation law in their realms law tab. Latest build (released V-Day 2016).
Title revocation requires CA, like before Conclave. If some behavior is not matching up to that of prior to Conclave, let me know.

EDIT: Unless you're tribal, that is. Then you can have the law freely, I think.

Independent dukes (and possibly counts), who do not have a de jure king-level or higher liege, are currently unable to revoke titles because [their title] does not have the Title Revocation Allowed law. I believe that prior to Conclave they were allowed to do freely, and it looks like they're missing a vanilla realm law allowing title revocation meaning they will never be able to revoke unless they or the AI create the de jure kingdom and pass title revocation.

I thought that this was already the case for dukes without a crown law title pre-Conclave. Indeed, on 2.5, if you don't own Conclave, it's literally how it works too. [Tribes/nomads are an exception, BTW.] Unfortunately, if the hard-code has changed how it handles title revocation in the absence of a crown law, I'm not entirely sure what I can do to "fix" this issue... The "revoke_title_law" in Conclave-vanilla, which lacks any Crown Authority law and thus must be there as a _demesne_ law, would be problematic if given to characters/titles that can/will be under a potentially-conflicting crown law of some sort at some point.
