TL;DR - Endless war bug when fighting Titular Emperor who dies mid-war after using Remove Ahistorical
Playing Latin Empire bookmark as the Latin Emperor in 1204 (The Fourth Crusade), id 205523. Immediately selected Remove Ahistorical Empires, which turns the Empire of Bulgaria into a titular title. A couple decades into the game (but this could work any time with console kill commands, indeed I just tested this), I declared war on the Bulgarian emperor with the 'Press All Claims' CB (you start the game with a strong claim on Zagore, Karvuna, and Tarnovo. If the Bulgarian emperor (217502) dies during the war (of old age in my campaign, or via kill in my re-test), his heir (daughter in this case) inherits the KINGDOM of Bulgaria and the empire is no more. This makes the win percent go to 100% for your war, but the image in the bubble is still the dead emperor. If you click 'Offer Peace', it shows the character card for the dead guy instead of taking you to a dialogue, and of course there are no right click actions possible on his portrait in order to end the war. So you are stuck in an infinite war that screws your 'At peace' requirements for certain laws, Demand Religious Reconversion, etc. I assume the code for continuing a battle with the new title holder gets confused by the loss of the empire due to the Remove Ahistorical decision, so we're still at war with e_bulgaria's holder which is...the dead guy, not his heir. This bug does not occur if you do NOT remove ahistorical empires. Though it's still flagged as 'Titular' with no de jure vassals, his daughter inherits the empire and thus the war opponent's position if you don't use RAE. But then, why wouldn't you? It's so important.
