So when I terraform a planet before colonisation with, let's say, +8 total mining districts blockers and a planet size of 24, to become a Gaia world. Wouldn't it be great if when the terraforming is finished I get a 24 size Gaia world with +8 mining districts blockers right ?

Nope you get for the low-low price of 10,000 creds a 24 size Gaia world with 2 of each district available anf no longer the blockers with the mining district bonus.......

I suppose it's not intended because I searched and nowhere did I find a tooltip or message telling you to colonize, clear the blockers and THEN terraform the planet otherwise the blockers would disappear.

Please fix it (waiting 5+ years for a forge world to realise it's not isn't funny at all)
Thanks.

PS : I was a "bit" mad when I wrote this post.

The Gaia issue is actually slightly different than what you mentioned. What happens when you terraform (to non-Gaia) is it clears all blockers and unlocks the planets full potential by changing the features to what the new planet type should have.
Gaia worlds on the other hand have ZERO +1 resource district features, that is why Gaia worlds tend to have huge district caps when found naturally. Unfortunately this also means when terraforming to a Gaia world all +1 resource district features are lost, as they cannot be translated into Gaia features.
This is definitely a bug though, hopefully will be fixed soon.

What op said also happens though. Terraformed some planets to tropical and lost all the districts I would have gotten by removing tile blockers.
