I made a criminal corp my vassal in my last game and they still have their offices in my empire..so right now I lost the most direct way to shut down the offices..the war..
Bug or intended? Vassalized Criminal corps don't close their offices in your empire..

But anyway, it's probably for exactly the reason I stated. For those players who actually like having a branch office, any branch office, on their planet, it would kind of suck to lose it just because you decided to vassalize them.
