Bug or Feature?

Hello. Got called in to war by France against Aragon while i was at war together with Florence against The Papal State. Florence is also allied to Aragon. I accepted the call but did not get to enter the war, probably because of Florence. Now i cant declare my own war against Aragon if i want. I can enter the war with the great power intervention. Is there some feature i dont understand or are there a bug here?

Yeah, it's because of Florence, you'd end up simultaneously allied with him in one war and fighting against each other in the other, which the game's engine can't handle so doesn't allow for.

and while this war is going on i am blocked from attacking Aragon in my own war if i wanted?

It might be that the game slightly bugged out and thinks you are in the war because you accepted the call to arms from France. Try to see if you can declare after you finished your war with the Pope.

I had to wait for the French war to be over before i could do that. So i guess it was a bug then, considering your response. Thanks.
