I've played through this game a couple of times now and quite often encounter this very annoying bug:

- If i change party members at the start of ACT 3, they don't join the group but if you open the "add party members" again, they are marked as a party member. If you ask them to join again they will be added to the group.

- After changing party members and load a new area is stuck on "the loading screen".

- After changing part members and rest on the spire, the screen goes black. You have the cursor and if you wait long enough you can hear inactive comments from your followers.

Hello @Iztari,

I am sorry this issue is affecting your gameplay. Could you please attach a save file you are seeing this behavior? We fixed an issue in a recent patch in which this behavior would happen when removing a companion from the party that was holding 'Penumbra' (Weapon). That particular issue should no longer be happening though.

Thank you,
David

I'm having the exact same problem. Based on my experience with the bug, it's more likely to trigger if the party member in question gained a level without being in the party. During subsequent attempts to get around the problem, as it appears to be random, I noticed that when the party member in question "joins" the party, their model moves to a different location on the Spire. Said model can still be interacted with. It is possible to get the character to actually show up in the party, but their moved model will stay where it is, resulting in there effectively being two of them; one in the party and one at an abnormal location on the Spire. The one in the party has no Talent Points spent and the only points available to distribute are whatever ones they got from the most recent level-up. For example, if Lantry gains two off-screen levels, he'll have only whatever Talents he had at Level 1 and two Talent Points to spend.

Same situation here.
