Unstolen rutters

(ubisoft 1.05) Several times playing as Genoa I stole rutters from France or Spain, yet didn't get the benefit of discovering more territory. It was clear that they had both discovered America, and clicking on "exchange discoveries" soon after showed that they both knew over 100 provinces I hadn't discovered. Yet I never got to see them when stealing rutters, like in EU1. Is this a bug?

No, it is not a bug. You only get to see the provinces of the route the ship was taking. So if you want to steal info on the Americas you to steal the rutters from a ship heading to or coming from the New World.

The 'bug' is in the text displayed when you steal rutters, it saying you get all their explorations.

I have a confession to make. Sikker and Araanor are exactly right, except - there is a recently-discovered bug which means you never ever get any newly known provinces

Should be fixed in 1.06.
