Everlasting wars

I'm playing Brandeburg... in 1520 passed to Protestantism and now I'm allied with Lithuania, which has been at war with Denmark for more than 30 years! Holstein (1 province-state)DoWed Denmark too, was conquered but war goes on for 10 years. I don't like to manipulate saved games files, what can I do, I've to wait forever?

There is not much you can do except try reloading to 'awaken' the AI. If that doesn't help try joining either side of the war.

Besides that, there is probably not much you can do except edit the war out of the save

If the re-loading doesn't help.

You could re-load and start as one of the nations at war - make peace - then re-load and start as your orignal country.

See if that does the trick.

Yes

Finally, I did it. Poor Mecklemburg was annexed... now I've to confirm that with few german minors wars in Europe are quite rare but last a lot of time...
