BUG: Japanese AI DoW meltdown

Japanese AI DoW meltdown

AI Nationalist China is part of the Allies.

AI Japan declares war on Communist China.

+/- one day passes, HOI has critical failure and returns to desktop.

It has done this 8 times in a row and never not CTD'd.

My assumption is the Japanese AI can't figure out whether or not to DoW China (since its Allied). But its a guess. I have it saved right before the crash.

I tested this save with another player in MP. He took over Japan and we advanced the clock past the CTD date. Game advanced fine. Then he DoW China as a human player. Once again no problem.

It definately seems the issue is whether or not an AI Japan will DoW on a Nationalist China that is part of the Allies.

ive seen the same thing when nat china is Axis as well. though it doesnt always crash, sometimes japanese ai declares war on commie china, then stops all activity and waits until the 1942, then declares war on usa.
