Bug? Japan Attacks US.

Started Beta 2 Armageddon game. Decided to play USA and await Japan attacks US before entering the war. Up until the moment that Japan attacks there is a 100% chance of the US joining the Allies. Once Japan attacks the chance to join the Allies suddenly becomes ZERO. If you click on "join alliance" regardless you get the message; "declines to join our alliance".

Try going in to the game as the British, don't unpause the game. but just try and do it from their side, and then save it and go back to the US. It may work. I had to do that when I was playing the Japanese, I could not enter the Axis, so I went in under Germany and tried it and it worked fine.

Just don't UNPAUSE the game, I find the AI will change almost everything that you have done.

That's extremely weird... you shouldn't have to load up as the Brits to fix that.

You don't need to load as Brits, use the acceptall cheat instead to go into the allies. Don't forget to switch it off again after that.

Still strange that this occurs, but I did't play US so far under DDA 1.3., so can't say if this is a common prob.

Is the game somehow catching on the fact that you're already in an alliance with PHI and LIB, and now you're at war? See if the problem persists when you reload. Sometimes the game just needs to clear itself.

This is the problem. You are now at war, thus allied to Liberia and Philippines. As suggested, join allies before unpausing.

The AI will change some stuff if you load an other country even if you dont un-paus. especially the naval formations
