Not sure if this has been mentioned before, but I opened up the historic leader files for Ireland to see what there was, as there weren't any in the game listed, but I saw the file there. I noticed the country tags were listed as EIR and not IRE. And changing them didn't seem to make much of a difference, so are those supposed to function, or was this just included as something to do later?

Hmmm... You mean the Irish leaders are not shown ingame? They should have two.

Did you edit the game using the editor? There is an issue there, working with editor seems to delete the leaders. This is known though.

Otherwise, it might be the tag thingie

He's right, the two Irish leaders in ireland.csv have "EIR" tags instead of the correct "IRE" ones. The ministers file looks OK.

Maybe EIR was for Eire, the gaelic name for Ireland? I also think that Ireland should have a land claim to Belfast, something they have only formally renounced a few years ago.

EIR was the tag that was used in EU2, so presumably that's where it came from. And I was talking about the military unit leaders, sorry if that wasn't clear . Anyone have any idea how to fix it?

Sure;.. For now, just change the tag column in the leader file from EIR to IRE
