I'm playing Venice (House Galbaio) in the Charlemange bookmark on Linux, all big DLC activated.
As Doge, I built an additional city in the Venice county, Fusina. After the death of my character, my heir lost the doge election. I became lord of Venice county, including the city of Venice and got all lesser vassals (Bishop, Baron, Mayors). The new Doge became my liege, and got the title of the Republic of Venice and the freshly completed city of Fusina. Fusina is now the capital of the Republic and may build the Arsenal. Venice city lost the existing Arsenal. Venice city stayed capital of Venice county.
Before the patch,iwould have gotten the title of Fusina, and the doge would have gotten Venice (county+city). I think that would have been the correct behaviour.
