German Economy Run by a 1000 Monkeys
In the game I am playing as Japan, Germany has basically stalled its offensive and has not taken France or Russia.I used the saved game trick and changed sides to Germany to see what they were up to. Their IC output was low so I checked the ledger. They need rubber badly and then I noticed they were trading rubber away at the same amount they were getting it in trade. I went to the world market and Germany must have had over 50 trades going. They would trade a 1000 steel for 500 rubber and 1000 coal for 500 rubber then trade rubber for other resources they already had. I saw one deal that had been offered was 1718 rubber for 859 coal. I got rid of that deal and their ic output jumped from around 358 to 423. It appears that the ai would trade resource one to get resource 2 then trade resource 2 to get resource one again. I guess it doesnt look at the previous deals it has going and just makes new ones to fill the need.
