Vestbydgen

Something tells me you guys know this, but I couldn't find it text searching the bug list. Vestbydgen is inland but has graphics of a port-not that you can build ships there, it's just a port in the middle of the ice

Assuming you mean Vestbygden, in Greenland - in my map it is coastal but does not have coastal graphics, which is the case for a number of provinces.

Or did you mean somewhere else?

OK, I know where is the problem.

It's in the province.csv file which lists all the provinces and their parameters.

For each province which has a port, you must have 4 parameters in this file :
- coastal (which determine the graphic in the city)
- X and Y Port Position (which determine the position of the little anchor in the map)
- coordinates of adjacent Sea

Or for the province Vestbygden (and also provinces Kamtcatka and Sredny Hrebet), you have coastal but no coordinates of port and adjacent sea.

So, to solve the problem, you have 2 choices :
- If you want a port in Vestbygden, add coordinates af port (I propose X = 6980, Y = 550, but TEST it before), and Sea adjacent (832 if you want the same sea of Caniapiscau/Belle-Ile or 834 if you want the same sea of Eirisksfjord)

- If you don't want a port, change the value from coastal to inland.

Historicaly, I don't know if there was a port in this province.

I would suggest this is not a port, as I don't believe you could build a warship in medieval Greenland !

Yes, but Greenland sure got real bad during the age of enlightment. Too bad all records of the Empire of Greenland have been destroyed...

So I propose to change the line 1537 in file province.csv from :

And for the others provinces Kamtcatka and Sredni Hrebet, do you know if there was a port in EU2 period ?

If the only difference in all that lot was coastal -> inland, yes I agree. Those other two you mention I think are on the Kamchatka peninsula in Siberia, and again could not have supported a port in the European sense in this period.

Yes the only difference is coastal --> inland.

So, do you agree to change the province Vestbygden (1537), Sredny Hrebet (1587) and Kamcatka (1586) from coastal to inland ?

1586 is already inland, but I have now changed the others.
