Those crazy dutch...

Take a look at this:

open a new game in the age of enlightenment (the one that starts in 1700). Now, hit f12 and type columbus and hit enter. Scroll to the Caspian sea area, and click on the province in the lower right corner, called Elbruz.

Gave me a good laugh Is this a bug or historical. I certainly never heard of that...

It might be a bug or maybe there was a dutch enclave at that time....

Odd, I just checked it and don't see anything special. Elbruz is owned and controlled by Persia.

Thanks I finally saw it. Though this is indeed extremely weird, I have never heard anything about the dutch owning something in Persia or anywhere in that region for that matter, so it has to be a bug methinks.

The problem is in 1700.inc :

# Dutch Colonies

province = { id = 525	religion = reformed	culture = "dutch" }
province = { id = 778	religion = reformed	culture = "dutch" }
province = { id = 816	religion = reformed	culture = "dutch" }
province = { id = 1050	religion = reformed	culture = "dutch" }

1050 is an ocean so that's wrong too. Anyone care to guess or research what 525 and 1050 should be? Odd that 525 x2 = 1050 ...

Actually 816 should be POR. I don't know what's going on here. 778 is right, it's Capetown.

Just a shot in the dark, but should it be New Zealand or bits of the phillipenes/indonesia perhaps?

NZ was British, the Philipines Spanish. Indonesia is a possibility.
