nationalregenter following Gustav Wasa

I was happily playing Sweden with NA 1.05, when Gustav Wasa rose to the Throne in 1520.

I then broke my vassalage to denmark by converting to protestantim, Immediately following that I had the End of the kamlar-union(3224)

I chose option A -'death to the danish tyrant'
promtly 'nationalregenter rose to the throne pushing Gustav Wasa away....

I played as far as 1525 without him reappearing

yeah randomness is good, but if it results in a great monarch being put to rest by a mediocre council I would prefer the other option

Okay, I agree... we should eliminate the offset too.

Now we just need to test it.

so this is our proposal, right?

offset for 3219 should be removed

death date for 3224 should be 31 dec 1520

deathdate for nationalregenter should be 31 dec 1520

Gustav Wasa startdate should be 1 jan 1521

So absolutely no overlapping can be done

well wakemonarch certainly did wonders for nationalregenter in my game.....

Ehum...One idea would be to "scrap" nationalregenter altogether. If Sweden left the Kalmarunion back in 1419 there were plenty of domestic candidates for the crown around. Best would be an event were you could choose from 2 or 3 dynasties, let´s say Wasa (), Oxenstierna and Bonde

It would be nice but don't you think thats a bit late for that kind of altering of the game??

No, we've reached a consensus:

In major_swe.txt:

1. Change the end date of event 3234 to Dec 31, 1520.
2. Remove the offset of event 3219 so it always goes off as soon as the trigger conditions are met.

In monarchs.swe:

3. Change the end dates for the Union and Regent placeholders (06300 and 06301) to Dec 31, 1520.
4. Change Gustav Vasa's (06302) start date to Jan 1, 1521.
