Mispelled adjectives for french colonies...

Here's the problem: when you play France and all the possible colony names are taken, the engine will create a name for further colonies by adding the adjectives "Nouwelle" (or was it Nowvelle?) and taking the name of one of your province. Example: Nouwelle Isle-de-France or Nouwelle Calais... But the problem is that "Nouwelle" isn't written correctly... It should be either "Nouveau" or "Nouvelle"... But for this game I think Nouvelle should be used... So just change the "w" for a "v"... It is a minor bug with the North American version (don't know about the other though)

This is certainly wrong. Even though it is not a translation issue, I don't know whether it is something that will be fixed by Paradox. I'll ask.

But it's so easy to correct... Just change a "w" to "v"! Come on State Machine

It's a question of whether Paradox will change text.csv. The official word is no. But seeing as it does not affect translations, maybe it's OK.

you could always edit the text.csv yourself with wordpad or something similar...

nah I wish it to be corrected... If it isn't I'll take it as an insult and will declare war on State Machine

I don't know where the idea came from that "Nouwelle" is in text.csv, but it isn't - it is in eu2.exe. As such it is not a translation issue nor one that players can fix. I'll log a bug on it this weekend if I can.

... and it looks like it will be fixed in 1.06. Additionally we're adding "shin-" for the same situation for the Japanese. Thanks.
