[Bug?] Building a castle with via Rulership lifestyle decision

Hello all, this is my first time posting to the forums. I couldn't find a bug report forum so I assume we post them here? If this post belongs in another sub-forum, please let me know. Thx

On to the problem:

So I'm playing as a petty king, and I've chosen the +3 stewardship lifestyle. After having the lifestyle focus for a few years, a decision related to the lifestyle focus pops up. It allows me to choose between either paying 400 gold to build a castle or to reject the decision. I chose to fork over the 400 gold to pay for the castle, and I received a notification that a castle would be built in the province of Kent, but no castle showed up, nor did construction for a new castle queue up in one of the empty slots. Is this a bug, or am I supposed to wait for a few years for the castle to just magically pop up?

You have to wait. It "magically" popped up for me and there was no construction queued up in any of the empty slots before it did. Time just passes (cant remember exactly how long but it was quite a while) and then "BOOM" you suddenly have a new castle sitting there.

If you hover over the slot where they're building it (or maybe you have to click on it) it will tell you that there is a castle being built there.

On a side note, if you ever do need to file a bug report or want to gain access to the mod forums where you can download mods then you need to sync your Steam account to your forum account. Once you're synced up, hidden forums such as the bug report forum will be viewable/accessible.

It normally just takes a few months to appear.

You can also get a message that the architect was a scam artist and has absconded with your money (you do get a portion of it back as I recall) so no castle.
