Ottoman event for Mameluks did not fire. I waited for 6-7 years but event for fall of the cairo did not fire.I think it was because my subject or ally was the one who sieged cairo.


I'm only playing with mods like ui,map changing and unrestricted national focus, convert monarch point but they are not the one who caused because i played more than 12 saves which i get event.

Yeah, you have to be the siege leader on Cairo when it falls for the event to fire. I wouldn't say it's a bug, it's more of a result of how the event is coded.

Nearly every bug is a result of how things are coded.

Is transfer occupation a DLC thing ?

It is not a DLC thing, but transferring the occupation doesn't help, because the event Collapse of the Mamluk Sultanate only gets triggered by winning the siege. And the right choice in that event is a prerequisite for the event Fall of the Mamluk Sultanate.
